Mission Statement
The mission of the Corporate Prayer Ministry of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship (NDCBF) is to pray, motivate, and train others to pray so that we all may experience the energy and power of God in every area of our life, thereby, making NDCBF into a praying church where God is exalted, His presence welcomed, souls are saved, and the gospel is spread.

The Objective  
To build a house of prayer where God's presence is welcomed in the total life of His church.

The Music Worship Ministry consists of our Praise Team, Praise Band, Praise Choir and our special music ensembles; (Praise ensemble, Men’s chorus and Women’s ensemble). Our praise is our active response to show who God is through song according to scripture. We desire to declare His Worth, through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to unite in purpose and passion, guiding our congregation into authentic encounters with God through heartfelt music and genuine connection. We are committed to fostering spiritual growth, maintaining accountability, and nurturing open communication within our team while continually seeking excellence in our musicianship for God’s glory.

Our vision is to be salt and light and witness our church be transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Deacons at North Dallas
This biblically-based ministry consists of dedicated Servant Leaders who have responded to the divine call of the Lord as they are committed to “serve” the NDCBF congregants. In order to prepare for “service,” these men engage in rigorous training that consists of biblical and theological principles. Further, deacons are exposed to a series of experiential exercises—all of which were designed to ensure ministry effectiveness.  

We are looking for people who want to serve in or are gifted in the following areas, to apply use the form below:  

(2 openings) Director: The director is responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of production, including controlling the content and flow of the service being produced, directing the performances of hosts/actors, selecting the locations in which the production will be shot, and managing technical details such as the positioning of cameras, the use of lighting, and the timing and content of the production's soundtrack.

(2 openings) Tech Director: The technical director works in the production studio and operates the video switcher and associated devices as well as serving as the chief of the broadcast crew. They typically will switch video sources, perform live digital effects and transitions, and insert pre-recorded material, graphics, and titles as instructed by the director.

(2 openings) Camera Operator: Camera operators are responsible for capturing and recording all aspects of a scene for broadcast. They use principles of lighting, staging, focusing, and filtering to achieve a specific visual look. They operate the camera under the direction of the tech director applying the technical aspects of lenses, film, filters, light, and camera settings to each shot to ensure the desired effect is achieved.

(2 openings) Production Sound Mixer: The production sound mixer is responsible for recording all sound during production. This involves the choice of microphones, operation of a sound recording device, and sometimes the mixing of audio signals in real-time.

(2 openings) Video Editor: Video Editors are responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. The editor needs to be experienced in editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions using video and audio editing software (Final Cut X Pro, Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, After Effects).

Our purpose is to assist Ministry Leaders in creating a warm and friendly, Christian environment for visitors and members by offering smiles, hugs, greetings and overall hospitality during church functions by assuming strategic positioning before, during and after each function. Our positions are at the doors but we are so much more. It is ministry. We seek God’s face and His counsel to fulfill our purpose.

Welcome Committee Members greet each person that enters the doors of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship with warmth and sincerity. ABOUT US
Honoring our seniors is a clear biblical obligation, whether our own parents, members of our church, or even the “least of these” as the Lord brings into our lives. Our desire is to honor our elders by restoring relationships, enabling family and church leadership care, and encouraging cross-generational restoration.

OUR GOALS

• Encourage families and the Church to biblically honor elders through relational care.
• Equip family and church caregivers with resources to thrive in caring for older adults.
• Help church leaders to provide loving support to elderly church members
• Train NDCBF volunteers to provide a ministry of presence to lonely and isolated individuals who could benefit from additional support. 
• During weekly one-hour visits, volunteers will provide transportation to medical appointments, assist in grocery shopping, and connect Seniors / widows with local resources.
• Assist in the healing process, health, and wellness among NDCBF members as well as the people in the surrounding community.
• The Senior Care Ministry is here to help educate, empower, and connect people with the resources they need to be well.

The Theatre Arts Ministry is an ensemble of actors, artists, and stage crew that uses the arts to evangelize the community and impact the world for Christ.

OUR GOAL
The goal of the NDCBF Counseling Ministry is to provide Christ-centered counseling and care through a program of individual and family counseling.
 
OUR PROGRAM
In addition to individual and family counseling, we offer two support groups which include DivorceCare (a divorce recovery program for adults) and GriefShare (a grief recovery program for those individuals that have experienced the death of a loved one). We also offer pre-marital counseling through individual sessions and through a pre-marital counseling class. The pre-marital counseling class is designed for members of the congregation and the community at large, who have a ring and a date, as well as those couples that are contemplating marriage.

ABOUT THE WORLD EVANGELISM TEAM
NDCBF strives to keep close to the biblical model concerning World Evangelism. Jesus’ last words: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (cultures)” Matthew 28:19, and Acts 1:8 “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

In Acts 1:8 the sentence construction is NOT “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria AND the uttermost part of the earth,” but it is (a very peculiar way of expressing things, and that peculiar expression makes the point) “BOTH in Jerusalem, AND in Judea, AND in Samaria, AND unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The sentence construction means that a Christian is to have EQUAL and SIMULTANEOUS impact in all four places in the list. So the emphasis is not on SUCCESSIVE impact (FIRST in Jerusalem, THEN in Judea, etc), but on SIMULTANEOUS and EQUAL impact in all the places in the succession.

EVANGELISM INITIATIVE
VISION - To see NDCBF members actively reaching out to their family, friends, and areas of influence with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that each NDCBF member has a missions field. It could be to family, neighbor, co-workers or others. The goal of Evangelism Initiative is to help prepare our membership for the task ahead.

OUTREACH TEAMS
VISION - To see NDCBF members impacting partnering with local ministries and see each ministry increasingly become more productive in carrying out God's will in their ministries. The goal is not primarily social action, but having the Gospel message communicated in a holistic manner to help individuals move from man/self-dependency to God dependency.

• Jerusalem – Outreach Ministries is defined as ministry that is done through NDCBF Outreach Volunteer Teams
• Jerusalem – Local Missions is defined as ministry within the DFW Metroplex

GLOBAL MISSIONS
World evangelism is the plan of committed believers to accomplish the mission of God to reconcile sinful humankind to Himself. This means God’s heart is about seeing that His Gospel message comes into contact with as many people as possible.

The first priority is to train and equip the disciples of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship to do the work of the ministry. The desire is for the disciples of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship to use their gifts and training in the following ways: within the church, to evangelize the lost, toward social service activities, and to church plant in the United States. The goal is to make disciples and to plant churches that will reproduce. This strategy applies to all missions activity.
 
The second priority is through missionaries to train and equip disciples to reach their own countries or communities with the gospel. They need to be nurtured and trained to assume leadership capacities. Generally this should be done in the home country (or home community) of the disciple. The desire is for the disciples of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship to be using their gifts and training by equipping future disciples to do the work of the ministry. The goal is to make disciples of the lost and to plant churches that will reproduce. This strategy applies to International, Domestic and Local Missions.

Focus Areas is an initiative in which NDCBF helps the local church mature, while helping our membership mature. Our membership matures as God interacts in their lives and they yield themselves to what God is doing outside of our culture. This initiative allows our partners to get more support and publicity. The goal is to have our membership intimately involved with each of our Focus Partners.

The Student Ministries of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship focuses on the spiritual development of youth, beginning in the nursery and ending upon completion of high school.

Our goal is to support families in the foundational and biblical teaching found in the Bible. With these principles, a student will be strengthened in the faith and better equipped for their transition into young adulthood.

Senior Sunday is a special Sunday where high school graduates are honored with a special prayer of blessing spoken over them. Graduates' families are encouraged to participate.
 
Graduation Luncheon
The luncheon follows immediately after morning service (around noon) in the Youth area. All graduates are asked to come with a parent, guardian, or other family member to escort them in as they are announced to the luncheon attendees.

If students would like to express words of gratitude to family members or other influential people at the luncheon, they should prepare a 1 to 2 minute expression IN ADVANCE. A special section of the program will be reserved specifically for personal expression.

Each student will be provided the opportunity to set up a senior table where people can see the senior’s activities, awards, and future plans displayed. This will also be a place for family members and the congregation to drop off cards or any gift they wish to provide the senior with.

The Senior Luncheon has a dress code.
· Males should wear a tie and jacket or a suit & tie
· Women must wear modest church-appropriate semi-formal dress attire
· No tennis shoes
· No jeans or denim jackets
· No athletic attire
· No sunglasses 

We are pleased to offer a variety of scholarship awards to current and recent graduates:

Spiritual Leadership Award: The Spiritual Leadership Award is issued to a student who is recognized as a leader in Youth Ministry and understands the importance of having a Biblical worldview. This student exemplifies all major criteria as well as demonstrating significant spiritual growth over their time in the youth ministry. This student also has a commitment to helping others understand Biblical truths and foundations through various group activities, events, and ministry opportunities. Must have participated in youth ministry for 3 years.

Academic Award: The Academic Award goes to a student who possess outstanding academic achievement. Points will be awarded based on Essay, Academic Transcript, and participation in Youth Ministry. Must have participated in youth ministry for 6 months.

Impact Award: The Impact Award in Honor of Al Wilson who was a man of God, loved the Lord and his family. Al Wilson was committed to building relationships and pouring into many young men. The Impact Award goes to the senior who demonstrates strong character, a commitment to building relationships, leading others to Christ, and has a servant’s heart. Must have participated in youth ministry for 2 years.

Servant Leader Award: The Servant Leader Award is issued to the senior who is dedicated themselves to serving not only within NDCBF community, but also their school, and other community organizations. Must have participated in youth ministry for 1 year.

Book Scholarship: The book scholarships are given to students who exhibit academic excellence. Points are awarded based on Essay, GPA, Academic Transcript, and participation in youth ministry. Must have participated in youth ministry for 6 months.

Our student ministries are EXCITED to present March Gladness 2024, which will take place on Saturday, March 23rd from 9am-2:30pm! In preparation for the Shift Summer Camp, this event is designed to unite the local NDCBF communities along with outside communities for fun fellowship through great food, basketball, and games. Our vision is for all proceeds from March Gladness 2024 to help make our Shift Summer Camp more affordable for NDCBF families.

The world is moving fast and being fueled by the spirit of this age that places all focus on the "here and now", secular and human advances, and the redefining of gender and sexuality. God ordained this generation to be the set-apart people He wants to use as a shining light of truth and eternal hope in Jesus Christ. The question is, who's willing to answer the call and accept the challenge? It won't be easy, but the Lord has promised to be with all those who call on His name! Everything the follower of Christ is called to do conflicts with cultural norms. Our student believers must be bold enough to make hard unpopular decisions. To truly see the Kingdom of God lived out in their generation, the young believers will need to prioritize a biblical worldview in a society plagued by deception and toxic cultures.

This summer our students are heading to summer camp to experience SHIFT at Sky Ranch Cave Springs in Oklahoma, one of the premiere names for summer camps in our region for church groups. Click below to see what the retreat has to offer!

Our goal is to have our students SHIFT from a cultural worldview to a biblical worldview in every area of their life. During the camp they will be immersed in lessons, worship and small groups that will allow for them to see a clear contrast in what the world defines them as and how to live their lives, to how God does from Scripture with the foundation on Christ. We plan on bringing in our own worship team, speakers, and adult servant leaders.

We are very excited to introduce a parent component to this camp where we are inviting parents to commit to being trained in how to disciple students by engaging them in discussion on relevant topics with a biblical worldview. They will learn to listen, ask questions and answer from a biblical worldview. This aligns with the mission and vision of our church to see our families and their homes built on biblical discipleship.

In preparation for the Shift Summer Camp, March Gladness was a fun event designed to unite the local NDCBF communities along with outside communities for fun fellowship through great food, basketball, and games. Our vision is for all proceeds from March Gladness to help make our Shift Summer Camp more affordable for NDCBF families.

The Shift Summer Camp seeks to train, equip, and challenge this generation of young believers to shift their worldview from secular to biblical by perceiving life through the lens of Scripture.

This biblical marriage ministry is dedicated to teaching both couples and singles about the sanctity and principles of marriage through the lens of the Bible. It offers guidance grounded in scripture, focusing on fostering love, respect, and mutual understanding in relationships. Through workshops, counseling, and study sessions, the ministry aims to equip individuals with the spiritual tools and biblical knowledge necessary to build and sustain strong, faith-centered marriages. By emphasizing the teachings of the Bible, this ministry helps participants understand God's design for marriage, encouraging a foundation of faith and commitment.

The mission of this ministry is to educate and empower individuals with biblical principles to build and sustain strong, faith-centered marriages. Creating a community of kingdom marriages that connects, empowers, and encourages couples to grow spiritually by actively living out marriage through the lens of God’s word.

The biblical singles ministry is dedicated to guiding singles in their spiritual journey by teaching them how to serve the Lord, contribute to the church, and maintain a close walk with God. Through Bible studies, fellowship events, and service opportunities, the ministry aims to empower singles to live fulfilling, purpose-driven lives rooted in faith. By focusing on personal growth, spiritual development, and community involvement, the ministry helps singles understand their unique role in God's plan and encourages them to use their gifts and talents for His glory.

The mission of our Single Adult Ministries is to equip and impact single adults with the message, the truth and the life of Jesus Christ that they may be attracted to the truths of Jesus Christ, both personally and corporately. We provide community, fellowship, and ministry in a loving, non-judgmental, non-threatening, problem solving, problem-sharing atmosphere. We help singles deal authentically with their needs and the needs of our entire church family and community. From college students to senior adults, we are working to provide ways for you to plug into a venue that suits your needs.

We are adventurous and passionate group of Millennials and Gen Zs who seek to draw closer to God, allowing Him to transform us into disciples who spread the message of truth to the world. Here are some avenues in which we strive to achieve our mission:

• Deeper Intimate Study through young adult ministries ‘Small’ Groups and as a 'Collective' group (i.e. where all the young adult small groups meet at the church (see our current bible study series below)
• Praise and Worship / Game Nights
• Community Service / Pray N Go

We aim to connect, equip, and send discipled young adults to serve the North Dallas area through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We strive to cultivate a community of disciple-making young adults through connecting them to other believers, equipping them through biblical teaching, and sending them to serve North Dallas and the World.

We exist to highlight the relevance of Christ in the lives of young adults in order to connect, equip, and send them to serve others in the name of Jesus Christ.

Blooming To Bear Fruit 
Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Psalm 1:3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

We are encouraging all ladies to wear purple clothing and/or accessories every third Sunday. The tradition was introduced years ago as a symbol of unity, community and support for sisterhood. Excited to return to the tradition, we are encouraging all ladies to join in on the symbol of unity!

As we experience different challenges in our season that refine, prepare and GROW us more into the likeness of CHRIST we are dedicated to listening and responding to the needs of women at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship and the community.

Isn't it a wonderful blessing and privilege to carry everything to God in Prayer? Our Women’s Ministry will have a 30 minute Prayer Conference Call every first Sunday at 7pm for all women to join as we seek God, to be lifted, and lift each other as we go through challenges and experiences by praying, interceding, and standing on God's Promises. "Prayer brings heaven to earth and brings the unseen on the scene." The theme for the year is "Women Equipped & Empowered to Disciple".

What’s in a name? This infamous phrase is often used to understand the concept behind or the components of a designation. As this phrase relates to the Men of North Dallas—as the name implies, this is a ministry that exists to produce not just “a few good men,” rather, we endeavor to produce “a multitude of good men.”  As men embrace the Word of God, they will be transformed and empowered through the power of the Holy Spirit to become the spiritual leaders of their homes.
